Reflection Learning Unit 1

After working on my first learning unit, I discovered that incorporating technology in a way that makes the lesson more meaningful can be difficult. Technology should be added to enhance learning, not just so one could say that technology is used in their classroom all the time. In my next learning unit, I plan to try and find the most meaningful ways to use the new technology that is being presented to us.

I had an issue with vocaroo where when I made a voice recording, it played for me, but after posting it apparently it didn't save the sound. So I would suggest double and triple checking before posting a recording using this resource.

Socrative is a really fun way to get students engaged in real time and incorporate making learning visible. I do always remind my students that I know who is making posts, so use the technology appropriately.

After taking the time to really reflect on all the ways I gather and share information, I found that my PLN was larger than I expected. I found that some of my greatest resources are my colleagues at St. Edward High School, and fellow teachers I met at BW during my undergraduate studies.
